Simply place the coin wrappers into the tubes, set the one-touch tube batch setting, press start, and watch them fill up. The machine will automatically stop when a roll is full. Or you can use our Custom batch settings so you can use both the coin trays and tubes at the same time, making coin rolls for some denominations while other coins fill up the bins.
- With just one touch, set batch quantities for coin tubes as well as coin trays to avoid overfilling. This review is for Viper V395 Coin Counter, Sorter, and Wrapper by SafeTech store. I have never used an electronic cord sorter and I’m pretty impressed with this one. At first I had difficult “pressing and holding” the buttons for setting the batch, but I realized there was a plastic protective film on the display and when I removed that it solved the problem. My first try resulted in a handful of coins that didn’t go into the assigned tube but fell out onto the counter. I counted out the number of coins needed for each tube and sent them back through again. All coins went into their tubes, however, the count did not exactly match mine. Not sure if the machine was off by a few coins or if I was, and really, a coin here or there doesn’t matter that much to me. It comes with a lot of pieces – tubes for wrapped coins and bins for batches of unwrapped coins. You can mix and match bins and tubes if you only want to roll one denomination of coins. It also comes with a dust cover and I wish, instead of a dust cover, it had come with a bag to corral all the pieces. We have a lot of coins that we’ve collected over the years and I’m looking forward to turning them into spendable cash. Also, we will loan this out to some of the charitable organizations we work with who often receive donations in coins. I have not yet used it enough to speak to its durability over time.

I recently got back into coin collecting and I sift through hundreds of coins per week. This product allows me to quickly count the value and wrap the coins to redeposit at the bank. It is very intuitive and user friendly. It counts the correct number of coins per roll each time for all types of modern US coins, including dollar coins (1979-current) and half dollar coins.
Overall: Great product, works as advertised for me. Could be better for quick changing of coin rolls.

Areas for improvement (why 5th star not awarded): machine can jam or spill the coins if the coin acceptors (funnels) for rolling the coins are slightly offset. It can be difficult to add the rolls to the coin acceptors (pre crimped rolls work best), product could work better for accepting other roll types.
