    Easy to use, seems to be accurate. The bills I validated at a private sale were accepted by the bank so no issues. Good on both old-style and new-style bills, and all denominations.

    The equipment is used to detect counterfeit bills, and is working well. The size is small enough to fit comfortably in a small work area. No problem with this equipment at this time, and is easy to use. The price wasn’t bad either.

    It is really easy to use as long as you slide the bill in correctly. It is quick and pretty accurate. However, it seems to have the most difficulty reading $50 bills. There were a few times when it kept emitting the error/fake sound for a genuine $50 bill and I had to turn off and on the device and reset the counter to zero before it would correctly read the bill as genuine. Also, it does not recognize much older bills (for example, from the 1960’s) but the incidence of a customer bring in such a bill is pretty low (it’s only happened to us once so far and it was someone we knew, so it wasn’t a big deal).

    I recently purchased the Kolibri KCD-1000 Counterfeit Currency Detecting Machine with high hopes for reliable performance, but unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The machine fails to accurately detect counterfeit $20 bills, which has proven to be both frustrating and useless for my needs.

    When inserting $20 bills, the machine frequently fails them and occasionally passes them intermittently. This inconsistency is highly problematic, as it undermines the primary purpose of the device: to provide accurate and reliable counterfeit detection. I have tested multiple $20 bills, and the results have been consistently unreliable.

    Attached is a video demonstrating the issues I encountered with the Kolibri KCD-1000. As you can see, the machine’s performance is erratic, making it an unreliable tool for anyone needing consistent counterfeit detection.

    I cannot recommend the Kolibri KCD-1000 based on my experience. It is crucial for a counterfeit currency detecting machine to function correctly, and this product falls short of that basic requirement. If you are looking for a reliable solution for detecting counterfeit bills, I would suggest exploring other options.

    I bought it to verify fake us Monday bills and it seems the machine does not do the work at all . I used a fake money bill to test the machine and it gave me pass !! I did I it ten times and I got the same answer . I will contact Amazon to get a refund and return the machine .

    We place this machine right next to our cash register where a fake $20 bill was given to us, and detected at the bank. I bought our cashiers counterfeit marking pens to test high value bills, but they were reluctant to use them, claiming that the pens take too long to show results in real time when ringing up customers. This machine solved that problem! We tested it at our store, and our store manager (who was a skeptic) was soon convinced that this counterfeit bill detector is the real deal! It is very fast, accurate, and easy to use. I am very happy with this purchase, and have bought another machine for our other store. Highly recommended!
