The obverse of this coin features the head in profile of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the only president of the United States who was elected four terms,and the reverse contains an olive branch, torch, and an oak branch that symbolize respectively, liberty, peace, and strength.
Very hard to find 90% silver coins, which have not been in circulation sin United States Government ceased the mintage of 90% silver coinage in 1964.
These Roosevelt 90% silver dimes represent some of the last 90% silver coinage minted in the U.S.A. The Roosevelt Dime was designed by John R. Sinnock, whose initials, JS, are shown at the base of President Roosevelt’s neck. The coins consist of .900 silver and .100 copper, and were minted in Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, and West Point.
