The Great American Coin Company is honored to offer one of the most collectible United States coins ever minted – Columbian Exposition Half Dollar
This amazing piece of United States history was minted in the years 1892 and 1893 to raise funds for the World’s Columbian Exposition held in 1893, as well as to commemorate the quadricentennial of the voyage of Christopher Columbus to the Americas.
The coin was designed by Charlesef Engraver or the United States Mint. The design features the obverse of the coin depicting a bust of Columbus based on a bust by Olin Levi Warner, while the reverse shows an image of the Santa Maria above the Eastern and Westerns hemispheres of the earth.
These coins consist of 90% silver.
All coins are random and will be from any date either 1892 o will be circulated.
