Let me tell you, this Aneken Mixed Denomination Money Counter is a game-changer! If you’ve ever dreamed of feeling like a bank teller but with way less stress, this is your golden ticket. At $500, it’s not exactly pocket change, but considering it counts your money *and* tells you if it’s fake, it feels like a solid investment.
The touch screen is sleek, the counting is fast, and the counterfeit detection feels like having your own mini FBI agent. It’s packed with so many features—2CIS, UV, MG, IR, DD, and a bunch of other acronyms that make it sound smarter than I am. Plus, it doesn’t just count; it *values* your cash and handles mixed denominations like a champ.
The only downside? It’s not the quietest, and sometimes it feels like it’s judging you for not having more money to count. But hey, it gets the job done and saves time, so I’ll take it. Four stars for making cash handling way less stressful!

Easy to set up and counts FAST! $50k in many denominations, no problem. The machine detected a suspected counterfeit bill we had in our till along with a bill that was taped together. We’re hoping we can somehow hook it up to a spreadsheet. Will update how that turns out. For the high value, it would be nice if it came with bill wraps.

Aneken’s AL-931-Pro model is also known as the M2 Ultra from Aneken. Actually, Aneken lists the M2 Ultra as the AL-931 model and I’m not sure if the “Pro” at the end of this machine’s model number signifies an advancement over the non-pro AL-931, or if the two machines are actually the same. Aneken charges substantially less on its web site for the AL-931 than it charges on Amazon for the AL-931-Pro which might indicate a difference between the machines, but because the machines look identical and seem to have many of the same features, and because I can’t find any mention of the AL-931-Pro on Aneken’s web site, I’m not certain what to make of the AL-931-Pro versus the AL-931.
I suspect the AL-931-Pro and the AL-931 have differing capabilities based on what I read in their respective product descriptions, but I can’t be certain because the descrption of the AL-931 on the Aneken site is not as thorough as the description of the AL-931-Pro on Amazon.
Either way, this machine’s capabilities far outstrip most money counters. It has the ability to:
1) Count and add mixed denominations of US currency and foreign currencies separately fed it.
2) Count and add mixed denominations of US currency AND foreign currencies mixed together in its feed
3) Count and put out a fixed number of bills (say you want to start a register with a specified number of bills of varying denominations)
4) Five different types of counterfeit detection, including: UV, magnetic, IR, IN and serial number
5) Take bills in any orientation and direction
6) Read front and back of currency
7) List, export and print out serial numbers of bills
8) Do all this FAST
This machine does a better job of recognizing somewhat damaged bills than the Munbyn IMC01 which I also own.
I haven’t tried this machine with foreign currencies so I can’t comment on Aneken’s support in getting purchasers who need updates to do so. But for US currency this machine needs no additional support to be count US currency.

One of the best thing about this money counter is being super fast and quiet. It doesn’t matter what kind of bill you have, it will recognize and count it. From my own experience, the machine is very accurate and haven’t had any errors yet. In addition, it has a big screen, so it’s easy to use.

An essential tool for every miser! The Aneken “Mixed Denomination Money Counter with Counterfeit Detection, Touch Screen, and 2CIS/UV/MG/IR/DD/DBL/HLF/CHN, Value and Mixed Counting for Accurate Cash Counting” machine comes with a remote display, cleaning brush and currency bands.
This unit counts multiple denominations and will display both the total and bill type quantities. It also logs the serial numbers of the bills.

I purchased this money counter because it claimed to support 120 currencies, but only 5 were installed. After contacting the manufacturer, they promised to send a file to install the additional currencies. However, the file didn’t work. I even sent them videos and pictures to prove the issue, but now they’ve stopped responding to my emails. I’ve sent two follow-up emails without any response before deciding to return the item. Extremely disappointed with the misleading product description and the poor customer service. Avoid this product!
