No more hand counting your earnings at the end of the day for your business or charity. The counting machine is super fast and found even with the speed has never been a time that any money clogged up the machine. The digital readout gives an accurate count of what you have all during the count.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This unit is complete garbage. you can get through a 50 stack of singles without it having an error code. It is a complete waste of money!!!!!!!!!

Works great and is easy to use.

I was going to try it out at our church for counting offerings, and pass it on to a small business for their cash drawer closing process. I can’t believe how convenient it is already at the church, which is where it will stay.

Given the smaller volume at the church, our process includes counting by hand, but we use this to verify when there’s more than say 10 bills. It is simpler to use than I expected.

It jams once in while, but is absolutely simple to un-jam and redo. I noticed it tends to jam when there are only a few bills to count, not when there’s a stack (I’ll never use it for only a few, I was just doing it to test it out).

You can set it to simply count, or to do value. It also claims to detect big bill counterfeits (haven’t seen that yet). It is incredibly fast.

It’s the same one my local bank uses, so that’s a good testimonial right there.

I’m very glad to have it, and will update this review if anything surprises me, good or bad.

I’ve used this for a few days in my small business. It is incredibly fast. I’ve used other machines but nothing nearly as quick as this. For me, it was the difference of seconds because of the small number of bills I was counting but if you were counting very large quantities of bills, this thing would be a huge time saver. I tested some obvious fake money and it generated a code each time. Make sure you save the manual because you will need it to interpret the code the machine gives.

A nice features is the value calculation across multiple bill sets. It won’t separate bills but it isn’t designed too. But you can have it add your stack of 1’s, 10’s, etc. This is a nice feature to have.

I ordered this machine for counting money after large events with cash sales.  Sadly, it will be far less useful for me than I had hoped.  I accept personal blame for this, but I also feel that Royal Sovereign omitted important information when posting the Product Information on Amazon.

When I read the description, I focused on this statement:  “Efficient Value Counting Results: Value counting system is unique in that it can total the number of bills by denomination, and total value by denomination.”  I interpreted this to mean that the machine would calculate the total value of all bills, differentiating the bills by denomination.  This is no, in fact what the machine does.  It is essentially ONLY a bill counter.  The total value function is just an added calculator feature in the machine.  You MUST separate your bills by denomination before placing them into the counter.  Then you select the denomination that you are counting.  All the machine does is count the bills and multiply that total by the denomination that you manually selected.

I take personal blame for my misinterpretation of this machine’s capabilities, since much lower in the listing, there is a photo with the following headline:  “The RBC-EG100 gives the user the added ability to track the value of the currency counted. Simply select the dollar denomination for each stack prior to counting. Value counting system is unique in that it can total the number of bills by denomination, and total value by denomination. Let this money counting machine do the work for you.”  Nevertheless, the inherent limitations of this machine were a great disappointment.

I tested all modes and functions of the machine extensively and it is 100% accurate.  It is also lightning fast!  I even placed a counterfeit bill in the middle of a stack of currency and it detected it each time.  Once the counterfeit bill was detected, the machine paused until I removed the bills.  It then resumed and ended with an accurate total bill count (NOT including the counterfeit).

I uploaded a short video clip which shows the speed of the counting, as well as what happens when a counterfeit bill is detected.

Overall, this machine is very high quality and functions as expected.  However, I strongly encourage the manufacturer to clarify the limitations of this machine in the Product Information section of the Amazon listing.

This is a very nice machine. It has a weight of about 6#, 11oz. Rubber pads on the bottom keep it stable. It also has a handle, which I really like, so if you’re moving it from place-to-place, it’s easy.

It’s very much like a lot of other such machines that I have used, though it does have some nice features as well. Primarily the ability to detect counterfeit bills. If it detects such a thing, it will stop and show a code. You must look at the reference in the included instruction book to find out exactly what is “wrong” with the bill. So you’ll probably want to make a copy (and perhaps laminate) of this page for quick reference.

This machine offers “Value Counting”. Meaning that it will count the different denominations and give you a total. But. . . This is not “automatic”. This machine can not differentiate between denominations. So you have to press a button telling it you’re first going to count $1.00 bills. . . place them in the hopper. . . .then press a button telling it you’re now going to count $5.00 bills. . . place them in the hopper. . . and so on.

I’ve used this for a couple of days now, and it’s yet to count incorrectly. It offers both auto and manual counting. It’s quite easy to use. If you’re just counting bills, you just place them in the hopper, and let it go.

It has a small “external display”, as shown on some of the pictures, if you wish to use it. This is optional, and you can choose to use it, or not.

    Made in China.
