I was excited to get this. First, the container was a little smaller than I had in mind. I had problems with the first three coins inserted. It has a little slide that that moves to the side as you slide a coin in and it’s pretty stiff. I assume it measures the width of the coin to determine which coin was inserted. While inserting the coin, if you back it out even slightly to get a better grip or whatever on the coin, it will incorrectly count it or double count it. I can’t even imagine how far off this counter would be after inserting hundreds of coins. After inserting three coins, it displayed $1.27 when actually it was $.56. If you have a ton of coins as I do then, your going to have a very tired hand, inaccurate count and very bored.
Definitely worth the price for simple food storage! –
Small but worth the buy

I have added different coins to the bank and so far it has added the amount just fine.

With the automatic counter I am encouraged to see the change grow. Prior to buying this my change sat in a jug. This gives me an incentive to save money. I am super happy with the purchase. The one downside, quarters are hard to push in because the spring inside has to move to accommodate the large currency. I would definitely buy again. In Fact when this one is full I’ll buy another to grow another jar….

I bought this bank for my granddaughter who has bags of change throughout her room. She spent hours yesterday “counting” her change in her new piggy bank. It works great, is easy to use and is only half full but has over $80.00 in it so far. She is now invested in picking up all the change she finds to put in her piggy bank for a special shopping trip with her BFF.

If you’re just starting I recommend counting your change and putting the amount in manually to start. Pennies sometimes come up as dimes, and also if you go to quick like I was because I had a lot of change, it won’t pick it up. It’s very accurate though. It’s pretty big too! Holds a lot! If you’re putting in a few at a time, then do it through the top because you can see the amounts and watch it closely. I was just putting in jars of change, so I wanted to get it done.

This little bank works exactly as advertised and has held up very well so far. The digital display is easy to read, and the container holds a good amount of coins. A fun way to watch your change up add.
