I recently purchased this play money set for my 3-year-old, and it has proven to be a fantastic addition to our playtime routine. The set comes with a generous 150 pieces, featuring a variety of bills and coins that closely resemble real currency. The vibrant colors and realistic details make this play money visually appealing for kids, sparking their curiosity and imagination. My child has not only enjoyed countless hours of imaginative play, pretending to shop, count, and play cashier, but the set has also become a valuable educational tool. It’s a fantastic way to introduce basic math concepts and develop early money-handling skills in a fun and interactive manner. The durable construction of the play money ensures it withstands the enthusiastic handling of little hands, and the set’s storage bag makes cleanup a breeze. Overall, this Learning Resources Pretend Play Money set has exceeded my expectations, providing both entertainment and educational value for my child.
However, I deducted one star as I wished there were more denominations included in the set. While the variety is decent, a few additional options would have allowed for more diverse learning scenarios during play. Nonetheless, this is a minor concern, and I highly recommend this play money set for parents looking to combine entertainment with educational benefits for their little ones.

I use this in the classroom (in Japan) so it’s cool to show how big/small our (American) currency is.

So I purchased this because my 15-year-old was getting ready to start a job as a cashier and I wanted her to practice counting the money and change. The money is very realistic even the coins are very realistic would definitely be great for a kindergarteners learning how to count money or in my case for my teen to practice giving change for her cashier job🤣
